A DROP OF BLOOD, A PORTION OF LOVE.
There is a blood donation project organized by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, United States of America. This design is encourage blood  donations from public. And they try to minimize the low levels of blood supply in Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, a Blood Center of U.S.A..

The concpet:
The creation of Adam “God gives life to Adam”
The Creation of Adam (Italian: Creazione di Adamo) is a fresco painting by Italian artist Michelangelo, which forms part of the Sistine Chapel's ceiling, painted c. 1508–1512. It illustrates the Biblical creation narrative from the Book of Genesis in which God gives life to Adam, the first man. The fresco is part of a complex iconographic scheme and is chronologically the fourth in the series of panels depicting episodes from Genesis.
The painting has been reproduced in countless imitations and parodies. Michelangelo's Creation of Adam is one of the most replicated religious paintings of all time.

Why the Poster only used Red & White?
Red represented strong emotion for public, it also let audience think about love and feeling warmth. It had big impact for first impression not like tranditional blood donation poster design.

While red given the strong emotion, we need to balance so white colour can bring out clean and safe feeling. Present that blood donation will be safe and clean and also thats equal for all peaople without regardless of race.
